Tummo Reiki utilizes the powerful energies of Reiki and Kundalini to cleanse, open the chakras and begin opening the Kundalini in a shorter time span than if you were to use only Reiki or Kundalini, which allows for quicker healing. The saying "a Path to the Heart" is attributed to Tummo Reiki. The heart carries different aspects of life and allows healing.
Through this technique enable you use your heart more fully in daily life, and be able to have more insight and intuition, allowing you to understand different parts of life. In going through the cleansing of your heart, and allowing its energies to guide you, you will be able to explore methods of opening the universe, reaching higher consciousness levels and reaching enlightenment. Reiki Tummo methods may combine yoga with these other methods in order to help with opening the Kundalini. The methods of Reiki Tummo come from the developement and understanding the energies that are available for one to use in the universe and within the student.
Reiki Tummo, while different from traditional Reiki, still uses some of the same methods that for the purpose of healing. In doing so the students/healers allow themselves access to universal energies and inner energy for healing. The students/healers then move beyond this idea to include other types of ways to tap into energies that are universally available.
